BeMore is committed to assisting businesses and business executives fulfil their dreams both through temporary business visits and through permanent immigration options.
WORK PERMITS
As a business person, you can become a permanent resident of Canada by first obtaining a work permit which is a temporary immigration status. The beauty of this is that a Canadian work permit provides a pathway for foreign nationals to enter the Canadian workforce, contribute to economic growth in the country and become Canadian permanent residents in the process. Usually, most foreign nationals become Canadian citizens 3 years (1,095 days) after they become permanent residents of Canada.
The IRPR extensively details how foreign nationals can become members of the worker class.
Worker Class:
- Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP)
- International Mobility Program (IMP)
- Post-Graduation Work Permit Program (PGWPP)
- Trade Agreements
Obtaining a work permit is generally possible through any of the above programs once the applicant is qualified and can put together a solid case for themselves.
As a business person or senior executive, understanding the options available to you helps you conserve precious time and money. Without proper guidance, foreign nationals tend to take the longer and more expensive route of pursuing a study permit either for themselves or for a family member.
